Wine vs. Beer? Brio Gusto Harvest Dinner Pits Beverages Against Each Other

brio 400x400It’ll be wine vs. beer at Brio Gusto’s annual Harvest Dinner this year.  Each of the October 22nd dinner’s 5 courses will be paired with beer and wine.  The idea?  To see which is the better match for the food.

To make things interesting, representatives of both Cave Spring Cellars and Lake of Bays Brewery will be on hand, providing their best beverages for the festivities.

The drinks, though, are there to compliment the main attraction: the fantastic food produced by owner/chef Lindsey Dupuis’ kitchen.  With the autumn harvest offering a wonderful variety of tastes, Lindsey and her team will marry top notch skills with traditional fall flavours.

Rosemary rolled Bone-in Pork Loin rack over Creamy Cheddar Polenta
with Brussels Sprouts & Braised Cabbage

Dark Chocolate infused Pumpkin Bread Pudding
with Housemade Ice Cream, Crème Caramel & Raspberry Coulis
